Home-made Crepe!

It's been long, and I just miss it over here.

Sohour...? or Just for fun...the savoury crepe is here.

Ingredients (Serves two crepes):

1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup water
1 egg
1 tbsp melted butter
1/4 tsp salt
(a pinch of nutmeg "optional")

(Double the quantity for serving more crepes)

The How to?

1-Mix the flour with the egg well.
2-Mix the milk and water, then pour it over the flour mixture. Beat well.
3-Add the melted butter, salt and nutmeg...and continue beating.
4-Strain the mixture, to ensure there are no lumps or whatsoever.
5-Preheat a large frying pan, and pour some good oil in there, then pour half the mixture.
6-Till golden, flip it over...et voila that's your crepe.

Stuffing:
*Diced tomatoes
*Chopped bell peppers
*Mozzarella cheese
*Chopped chicken

How to:

1-Stuff the crepe at one side then fold it.
2-Take it into a skillet, (no need for extra oil here)..and flip it one it has taken a good colour (why not make it a bit crisp from the outside)
3-And flip it to the other side, then bon appetit.

Ideas for Stuffing?
*French Fries+onions+olives+green pepper+ketchup+mayonnaise+mozzarella cheese (try adding a pinch of thyme as well)
*Sausages with mixed chopped veggies.
*Burgers? Why not?!
*Leftover chicken? Of Course!

BE Creative!
(I like mine a bit crisp from the outside; it was stuffed with mayo, crispy spicy chicken, tomatoes and green peppers..and of course the melted mozarella! YUMM)

*P.S. You don't have to fold it, roll the crepe if you wish to! Have fun!
